The Evolution of the Company

Since its inception, Holbec has evolved with the needs of agricultural producers. Initially recognized for its orchard equipment, the company has progressively diversified its offerings.
Throughout its journey, the company has focused on the needs of other producers, such as those in market gardening and fruit cultivation, as well as road and forestry maintenance. The import of advanced European technologies has allowed for the integration of new solutions, enabling them to meet the needs of their various sectors of activity. More recently, the company has added to its expertise the management of grain processing equipment and other products adapted for urban organic farming. This commitment to continuous improvement confirms its dedication to constant innovation to support agriculture today and tomorrow. Holbec is now one of the largest importers of orchard and vineyard equipment in Quebec.

The Company: Past to Present

Following trips to Europe aimed at exploring the world of agricultural machinery and specialized equipment, Holbec was founded in the 1970s. The Netherlands particularly stood out for its proven techniques and the engineering of its agricultural equipment. The owners wished to demonstrate their connection to the Netherlands by creating Holbec.
Today, the company is led by a team of specialized experts who aspire to further advance the agricultural sector. Drawing on his field experience, the owner, himself a farmer, breathes new life into the company, focusing on high-end engineering, equipment durability, and tailored support for producers. This passing of the torch marks a new era for Holbec — still rooted in its values, but resolutely focused on the future.
